Many individuals who joined Rotary initially felt anxious about public speaking. Rotary not only helps develop confidence and public communication skills but also offers opportunities to practice and refine them. The collaboration between Rotary and Toastmasters provides an excellent platform for Rotarians to enhance their speaking skills. As professionals, effective communication is crucial for reaching customers and clients and promoting our service projects.
To support this initiative, Toastmasters has provided Rotary with eight interactive web-based learning modules tailored for Rotary members:

- Interpersonal Communication
- Building Consensus
- Collaboration
- Leadership Skills
- Leading a Team
These courses offer self-paced learning and can be accessed on a laptop, personal computer, or iPad. Organizations can utilize the web-based professional development training that Rotary offers for employee growth. Completion certificates are awarded upon finishing each course.
The Rotary Club of Owasso collaborates with the Keystone Toastmasters Club to provide more speaking opportunities for Rotary members, enabling them to complete their public speaking, communication, leadership, networking, and evaluation learning modules.
